Mystical Dragon

This was my very first pyrography project, and I’m so proud of how it turned out! I’ve always felt that the dragon aesthetic would be perfect for pyrography, and the chunky, live-edged wood round was the ideal canvas to bring it to life.

I spent over 10 hours carefully crafting this piece, and honestly, I loved every moment of it. There’s something incredibly calming about the process of pyrography—the steady hand, the smell of the wood, and the focus it requires. It’s so easy to lose myself in the rhythm, letting hours slip by without even noticing. Now, I’m already thinking about my next design and can’t wait to see where this creative journey takes me!
